Jeff and Sallie Pocock purchased Williwaw Corner in September 2003. At
that time the house was in need of substantial refurbishment and renovation.
Over the next few months they gutted the whole house, a wall was knocked
out to open up the kitchen area. Until then the kitchen had no view of
the ocean. Now you can see clear across to the Olympic Mountains.
A new kitchen and new bathrooms were fitted and new tile floors
laid. The rest of the house had new wood flooring laid. Finally the house
was painted from top to bottom, ready for rental as self catering vacation accomodation. In 2008 the house has had a new roof fitted.
Sallie's joy is the garden, she has spent many a day planting, weeding
and tending to the gardens. And you can see it! Williwaw Corner has beautiful
gardens front and back. The back garden is wonderfully secluded, allowing
you to sit out in privacy, whilst the front offers spectacular views over the Juan de Fuca Straits and Olympic Mountains.
Williwaw Corner is not just a vacation rental house, it is a home. Sallie,
Jeff and their family use Williwaw Corner for their own leisure time
also. They hope you enjoy it as much as they do.
